The SCADA Data Gateway (SDG) collects data from
OPC Server, IEC 60870-5, DNP3, or Modbus Slave
devices and then supplies this data to other
control systems supporting OPC Client, IEC
60870-5, DNP3, and/ or Modbus communication
protocols.
  
Communication
Protocol Test Harness
The Communication Protocol Test Harness is a
WindowsT application that acts like a typical
Master or Slave Device. It can be configured
through a Graphical User Interface (GUI) or Tcl/Tk
scripts to provide automated testing or simulation
of your device. Example applications are included.
An optional module is available to perform the
conformance test procedures published by the
technical committees of each protocol. A
configurable database of simulation points allows
emulation of standard off-the-shelf devices.
Additional instrumentation such as voltage or
current generators can be controlled to
automatically establish a test condition and
confirm the expected results through the
communication protocol.
